Debbie Davies , RN

Debbie graduated from the York Regional School of Nursing in 1973. During her 32 years of nursing, she has specialized in hematology, orthopedics and for the last 20 years, has concentrated on care for infertile patients.

Debbie, a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Canadian .Fertility and Andrology Society and the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, was awarded the Turner Award of Excellence for her participation in facilitating the move of the IVF program from Toronto General Hospital to Mount Sinai Hospital and a Nursing Preceptorship Award while with the Mount Sinai IVF Program. She also received international recognition for her participation in a study concerning patient pain management in ovum retrieval and has been involved in reproductive medical research.

One of Debbie's proudest accomplishments is as a patient advocate. She has been very involved with teaching patients, and nursing and medical students and staff. She is very excited to be joining The CReATe Program in this new capacity.
