Infertility treatments can vary greatly from patient to patient as well as from cycle to cycle. This variance makes it difficult to predict costs per treatment cycle. Some of the factors that lead to this variance are as follows; the type of procedure the doctor chooses for your particular situation, the drug regime that is prescribed and some diagnostic tests the doctor may require that are not covered by OHIP or other insurance plans.
There are related costs that you should keep in mind, for instance the time you may need to be away from work for daily cycle monitoring, procedures and possible rest days. In addition don't forget your parking and travel costs. We are located in downtown Toronto, there is parking near by but each lot varies in cost, however we are located right across the street from the College subway station.
Patients who are not covered by the Ontario Provincial Health Plan must pay all of their costs themselves. We will provide receipts, which you may then wish to use to acquire any reimbursement, that your province or private insurer may offer or a federal tax credit.
Prices quoted are for Canadian residents only. It should be noted that most infertility investigations and treatments are covered by provincial health insurance in Canada.
